Chamfered Recesses

In the process of casting a hole by a core form or punching a hole with a punch die a sharp burr edge can form on the surface. We cut this burr off with countersink bit so the hole has a rounded edge that will not scratch the dance floor. To chamfer the holes means another step in the processing of the castings, but to us it is very important. Remember, you are a guest when dancing on someone else's floor. Care should be exercised to prevent damage.[cite: 7]
